The Yeezy releases are becoming harder to cop than Jordans, after announcing a release date on Twitter, Adidas Originals officially unveils the next Yeezy Boost 750 colorway: Light Brown. The sneaker boasts a deconstructed upper in light brown suede, while the upper reinforcements have been removed to give it a softer and slimmer silhouette. Finally, the semi-translucent gum outsole features full length BOOST sole for comfort and performance. The Yeezy Boost 750 "Light Brown" drops Oct. 15 online and at select retailers worldwide for $350 USD.
Just a side note here: I am fully involved in the sneaker community, whether it is adding to my collection, writing about sneakers or attending local conventions.Yes, I have Yeezys and yes, I paid retail so before someone says I am salty... I'm speaking from the side of the true consumer. However, the sneaker community has to do something about these releases. The Yeezy is a highly sought after shoe and it is understandable that many will have bad luck purchasing the shoe due to high demand. But what I hate to see is BOTS and backdoor purchases happen, that allow resellers to grab as many pairs as they would like to sell at astronomical prices. Honestly, the price to make a Yeezy is far less than one thinks but when resellers sell the shoe for over $1000 this shoe should contain precious medals and never touch the ground. I do not hate on what resellers do, many people I know are resellers but the pricing has to start being fair to those who truly love the sneakers. Nevertheless, check out this article on HighSnobiety regarding the Yeezy 350 V2 release and how things went south for buyers. I wish you all luck, this will be another shoe sitting in consignment shops around the country.
